Mike’s Eval: His weakside help defense is excellent and has led to him being the second leading shotblocker on his team. DCC is 7-2 heading into conference play. Mike is averaging 8ppg and 6rpg. Not big numbers but playing as a post player limits his touches at the JUCO level. He has extended his game out to the 3 point line where he is averaging 38% on the season. He has a 6-9 player’s wingspan which enables him to play great on the ball defense.  His strongest skill is his ability to slash to the basket and to establish post position.  At the D-1 low major level he would be a great 3 prospect.  At the D-2 to NAIA level he could play the 3/4 spot with success.  A great prospect who should earn his AA degree this spring.
