As you all know the 2009 season was somewhat of a disappointment as none of our Baton Rouge area teams won a state title for the first time in a while. Last year we had Christian Life, St. Thomas Aquinas, Episcopal, and Glen Oaks make Top 28 appearances, but all came up empty as they all lost in the semi-finals. This season Baton Rouge will get back on the map. With veteran squads back for Christian Life, Glen Oaks, Dunham, Istrouma, Southern Lab, Redemptorist, Hammond, East Ascension and several others, do not be surprised if we have a team represented in every classification at the Top 28, including B and C.

While we are getting ready to get started for this year’s season, I would like for you all to email me questions, players who you think deserve stories, key games to look forward too, sleeper teams,  and anything else that you think needs to be discussed. Time to get started again so let’s get ready and have a great season in Baton Rouge and the surrounding 8 parishes.
